We currently have two postdoctoral positions available. The Lodhi lab uses cutting-edge technologies, including CRISPR/Cas9, next-generation sequencing, lipidomics and proteomics. The overall goal of the lab is to understand lipid metabolism pathways and their relationship to metabolic diseases, including diabetes and obesity.
The candidates must have a PhD in physiology, cell biology, biochemistry or a related field with strong experience in molecular biology demonstrated by publication in reputable journals. Experience in mouse handling and surgery is desirable, but not required. Willingness to learn these techniques is preferred. Skills in independent analytical thinking, experimental design, troubleshooting, and the ability to effectively communicate with the laboratory staff and investigators are highly desired. Qualified candidates are invited to contact Dr. Lodhi (firstname.lastname@example.org) with CV and names of three references.
